Sasha is currently in production on her first feature film, Love Type D, which is an extension of her award-winning short film, Lunch Date. Lunch Date was funded entirely on Kickstarter, and screened at film festivals across the USA, including Aspen Shortsfest (where it won a Special Jury Recognition Award from the comedy jury, co-creators of The Simpsons and Curb Your Enthusiasm), Palm Springs Shortfest, and Lunafest (where it screened to 25,000 people across the USA and was voted the highest rated short film by audiences). It had a limited theatrical release in LA and was screened on PBS in California. She has an MA in Filmmaking from the London Film School. She won a Skillset Bursary, a Postgraduate Bursary from SW Screen and a John Brabourne Award to attend the MA, during which time she wrote and directed six short films. After graduating, Sasha was selected for the Binger Writers Lab in Amsterdam, where she spent five months developing a feature film project, Another Anna, a romantic-comedy-magical-realism-fable about learning to like yourself.
Love Type D - A woman who has been dumped eleven times in a row, discovers (to her dismay) that she has a loser in love gene.
