Maria Caruana Galizia
Maria is an entrepreneurial producer based in Newcastle upon Tyne. Maria began her career in post production, working as an assistant editor for Scottish Television on ‘Taggart’. She then went on to work freelance on various productions including ‘Moby Dick’, ‘Agora’, ‘Game of Thrones’ and ‘Sinbad’. In 2012 she moved to Newcastle upon Tyne to work as an assistant producer for a local production company. In 2013 she realised her ambition to run her own company by founding Candle & Bell Limited. The company has since produced 5 short films and a number of commercial videos and animations for local and international businesses.
