Rachel Tunnard

Rachel is a UK-based writer-director and film editor represented by United Agents. In 2011 she was named by BAFTA as one of the forty-two "Brits To Watch", and in 2014 she was selected for ‘Guiding Lights’ – the UK film industry’s leading mentoring programme. Rachel is also an award‐winning editor who has cut BAFTA-nominated feature films and films that have won festivals including Turin Film Festival 2012 and Edinburgh Film Festival 2010 (Best British Feature). 

As a writer, Rachel was part of Edinburgh Film Festival Talent Lab 2012, the Script Factory Talent List 2011, and She Writes 2010 (Birds Eye View / Script Factory). In 2013 she wrote and edited FUZZBOX – a comedy for the BBC, and wrote and directed EMOTIONAL FUSEBOX – a feature pilot commissioned by the BFI and Creative England, which has been selected for London Film Festival 2014.

Her first feature film HOW TO LIVE YOURS (Creative England / BFI Net.Work), produced by Michael Berliner, is due for release in 2016. Her second feature film is currently in development with Film Four.


Michael Berliner

Michael is an independent producer who has made fourteen award‐winning shorts since 2008, through his company Pico Pictures. These include four for the UK Film Council, one apiece for BBC HD and BBC Writersroom, and two for the BFI. He’s won prizes including the Film London Best of Boroughs Viewers' Choice Award 2008, Straight 8 2008, the Grand Prix du Jury at Angers Premiers Plans 2010, and both Best Short Film and the Short Film Audience Award at East End Film Festival 2010. Michael was MovieScope Magazine’s Producer to Watch in February 2012, and was mentored by Warp Films CEO Mark Herbert through the Guiding Lights initiative. He is a 2014 Screen International Star of Tomorrow and has four features in development.
