Based in Liverpool, Amy Roberts has established herself as a writer, blogger and musician who combines various mediums such as spoken word, essays, poetry and even blood smeared go-go dancing to explore dark and irreverent narratives within pop culture and everyday life.

Amy is also the co-editor of the pop culture, TV and Cinema blog Clarissa Explains F*ck All, a pleasure she proudly shares with fellow writer Amy Mackelden and which was recently featured in Elle Magazine's 'Top 14 Funniest Feminists Online'. Her personal blog I Never Knew You Were Such a Monster – a collection of writing blurring the boundaries between fiction and non-fiction – was nominated in multiple categories in the 2012 and 2013 Blog North Awards. When she isn't writing she can usually be found playing bass with the crust punk band Aüralskit.

Her first poetry collection 'Final Girl' – a collection of poems based on Carol J. Clover's feminist theory and celebrating the fiercest female survivors in contemporary horror movies – is due for release later this year.
