Andrea Cornwell has most recently completed production on Suite Française for eOne, TF1 and The Weinstein Company. Starring Michelle Williams, Kristin Scott Thomas and Matthias Schoenaerts, the WWII drama will open worldwide in early 2015. Her last film was the sci-fi thriller The Last Days On Mars for Universal Pictures / Focus Features International, starring Liev Schreiber, Olivia Williams, Elias Koteas and Romola Garai,  and directed by Ruairi Robinson. The film received its premiere in Director’s Fortnight at the 2014 Cannes Film Festival. Other projects include the BBC TV movie Micro Men directed by Saul Metzstein and nominated for RTS, Grierson & Broadcast Awards; and the award-winning film The Scouting Book For Boys (as co-producer), directed by Tom Harper for Film4 / Pathe. She is developing a range of projects including Invented Eden for BBC Films with screenwriter Guy Hibbert.

From 1999-2004 she worked at the First Film Foundation running schemes promoting film talent in London, New York and LA.  As producer and line producer she has worked on films and television including Xiaolu Guo’s She, A Chinese, Niall McCormick’s Transit, and for TV: The Yellow House, directed by Chris Durlacher, My Life As A Popat and Colosseum directed by Tilman Remme. 

Andrea was the UK’s Producer on the Move for European Film Promotions in 2013, and was nominated as the British Council's Young Screen Entrepreneur of the Year in 2009.
